These updated methods are aimed at making it easier for new registrants to verify their eligibility without facing unnecessary difficulties. This article covers all the eligibility-checking methods offered by BISP, so applicants can easily find out if they qualify for financial assistance.

If you’ve recently completed your registration for the BISP program, you can now check your eligibility status online from the comfort of your home. The online portal is designed to make this process simple and accessible:

  • Open the BISP Web Portal: Go to the official BISP web portal using your mobile device or computer.
  • Enter Your ID Details: On the portal’s homepage, a form will appear where you can enter your CNIC number and a Captcha code. Make sure to enter your CNIC without dashes.
  • Submit the Form: After entering your details, click the “Find” button.
  • View Eligibility Status: Within seconds, you’ll see all relevant details about your eligibility and any funds available.

Please note, eligibility information is typically updated in the portal six months after completing your registration. If more than six months have passed, you should be able to see your status.

Eligibility Check at BISP Offices

If you’ve tried both the online and SMS methods and haven’t received a satisfactory response, you can also verify your eligibility by visiting the nearest BISP office. This in-person option is particularly useful for those who want to clarify their status or resolve any issues directly with a representative. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Find Your Nearest BISP Office: Locate the BISP office closest to you.
  • Bring Your CNIC: Carry your ID card with you.
  • Check Eligibility with a Representative: Present your CNIC to a BISP representative, who will provide the eligibility information.
