In a groundbreaking initiative directed by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Department of Social Welfare and Baitul-Mal Punjab has launched an online registration program for persons with disabilities. Starting from November 1, 2024, this program aims to ensure that disabled individuals across Punjab have access to government facilities, financial assistance, and various privileges to support their well-being. This initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to empowering disabled persons and helping them lead dignified and prosperous lives.

Persons with disabilities who successfully complete their registration will be eligible for a variety of benefits, including:

  • Free Travel Facilities
    Registered individuals will be able to travel for free on government transport services. This measure is designed to ease their financial burdens and allow them to carry out daily activities conveniently.
  • Special Discounts
    Discounts will be available in educational institutions and hospitals to ensure disabled individuals can access quality education and healthcare without worrying about expenses.
  • Financial Assistance Through Himat Card
    Registered persons will receive financial assistance through the Himat Card. This aid will not only help cover their basic expenses but also promote financial independence, allowing them to support their families.

    Visit the official registration portal: https://dpmis.punjab.gov.pk/register.
  • Fill Out the Registration Form

Individuals facing challenges due to illiteracy or lack of internet connectivity can visit the nearest Social Welfare and Baitul-Mal Punjab Office to complete their registration. Trained staff members will guide them through the process.
