Livestock Distribution Program 2024: Eligibility Criteria and Registration Guide

In a groundbreaking initiative led by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Livestock Distribution Program 2024 aims to empower rural women from South Punjab by providing free livestock. This program is designed to uplift the lives of approximately 11,000 poor, divorced, and widowed women in South Punjab. With a budget allocation of 2 billion rupees, the program focuses on improving the financial stability of underprivileged women through sustainable means.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Livestock Distribution Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Marital Status
  • The program is exclusively for divorced and widowed women from poor and deserving families.
  • Applicants must provide a divorce or widow certificate issued by the Punjab Social Protection Authority.
  • Age Requirement
  • Women must be aged 55 years or younger.
  • Applications from women over 55 years old will not be accepted.
  • Livestock Acquisition History
  • Applicants must not have benefited from any livestock distribution scheme in the last five years.
  • NSER Survey Completion
  • Completion of the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry) survey is mandatory.
  • Women must have a PMT (Poverty Management Tool) score of less than 32 to qualify.

Eligible Districts

The program targets rural women from the following districts in South Punjab:

  • Dera Ghazi Khan
  • Muzaffargarh
  • Rajanpur
  • Layyah
  • Kot Addu
  • Bahawalpur
  • Bahawalnagar
  • Rahim Yar Khan
  • Multan
  • Khanewal
  • Vehari
  • Lodhran

Women outside these districts are not eligible to participate in this program.

How to Register

The Punjab government has simplified the registration process by offering two methods:

  • Visit a Veterinary Dispensary
  • Women can visit the CM Facility Desk at their nearest veterinary dispensary to complete their registration.
  • Online Registration
  • Alternatively, women can register from home by downloading the Asset Transfer to Rural Women application from the Google Play Store.

Ensure that all required documents, including your NSER survey and marital status certificates, are readily available before starting the registration process.
