How to Check BISP 8171 Result (Eligibility & Amount)

Previously, people had to travel long distances to visit BISP offices to check their eligibility and payment details, which often resulted in long waits and incomplete information. To address these challenges, BISP has introduced two easy methods for checking eligibility and payment details without the need to visit an office:

1. BISP 8171 Result Check by CNIC (via SMS)

This is a quick method, especially useful when online services are unavailable. Follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Using the mobile number registered in your name, send your CNIC number (without dashes) via SMS to 8171.
  • Step 2: You will receive a reply SMS from BISP with complete details about your eligibility and amount.

Important Note:

  • Ensure the SMS is sent from the mobile number registered in your name, or you will not receive a reply.
  • Telenor users may not receive a response SMS.

2. BISP 8171 Result Check Online by CNIC

This method is more efficient, providing instant information. Follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Open the 8171 portal on your mobile or computer with a stable internet connection.
  • Step 2: Enter your CNIC number and the captcha code on the form.
  • Step 3: Click the green “Search” button.
  • Step 4: Your eligibility and payment details will appear instantly on the screen.
